God's Gift To Me

Hey everyone! I have recently just started writing and composing my own songs. I'm kind of new at it, so I'm going to post the lyrics to my first song on here. I actually wrote it with my twin sister and best friend. The song isn't finished yet but it will be soon! 

God’s Gift To Me

I've made mistakes and hid my cares,
But God forgives and answers prayers.
He'll hold my hand and walk me through
He'll clear the path that leads to you
He's showed me mercy I dont deserve
he gives me love and my life preserves

With you, God, my hope still endures, but sometimes I'm unsure.
Please show me the right path to him.
Make me a fairytale that will never end.
Dear God, mend my heart that's been broken so many times before.
Show me who you have in store.
Keep him safe, and keep him pure

All my problems only he hears,
He helps me out and wipes my tears
He healed my heart and all its scars,
He'll give me you, worth more than stars
He planned it way before our birth,
To show us love in this dark earth
With you I'll fly up to the sky,
Our love will take us oh so high
